Meet Denita, Your senior photographer

Abingdon Virginia senior photography experience

Hey there! I'm Denita House

The one behind Darlin' Photography right here in Glade Spring, VA.

I’m a Southwest Virginia senior photographer passionate about creating an elevated, personalized experience for high school seniors across Washington County, Virginia and surrounding communities. I share life with my husband Dylan and our blended crew, and honestly, they've taught me a ton about patience, realness, and showing up with love every day.

Photography wasn't my first thing, but the moment I grabbed a camera and helped a senior feel truly seen and confident in their own skin? That was it—I was hooked. Now I specialize in high school senior portraits that are all about you—your quirks, your energy, your whole vibe. No stiff, same-old poses here. Whether you're outgoing and bold, quiet and thoughtful, or a total mix, I want your photos to scream "that's so me." Let's make something real and fun that you'll actually love looking back on.

01.

Fact 1

I'm all about real talk and good energy — Life's taught me that showing up authentically (quirks included) builds the best connections, and I love hyping people up to own who they are—no filters needed.

02.

Fact 2

I still get excited about the little things — Whether it's discovering a new favorite song on repeat, binge-watching a show everyone’s talking about, or finding the perfect coffee spot, I stay in tune with what makes life fun right now.

03.

Fact 3

I'm a total blended-family pro — With my husband Dylan and our grown kids (well, they think they're grown), I've learned that every family has its own rhythm, and the best moments come from rolling with the chaos and loving through it all.

04.

Fact 4

I'm a farmer's wife now — Dylan works from home running our small-scale farm, so I've traded city stresses for fresh air, dirt, animals, and the occasional muddy boot adventure. It keeps life grounded and reminds me to appreciate the simple, real stuff.

Authentically you!

Capturing the moments that make you, you.
