I believe in helping seniors become more comfortable and confident in who they are, quirks and all! I do this by making sure your session is unique to you and allows your personality and individuality to shine through.
What you wont find here: That during my sessions, I only photography people in sundresses and button ups or that everyone looks the same!

My name is Denita House and I am the photographer at Darlin' Photography! I am so excited you are here!
I live in Glade Spring Virginia, with my wonderful husband Dylan! Between the two of us, we have two adult children who have moved out and are doing their own things! There have been a lot of difficult times in the past few years but that hasn't stopped us from fulfilling our individual dreams together! This blended family has really shown all of us just how much true love and patience can get us through anything!
When I moved to Washington County Virginia, I didn't plan on working as I needed to be available for my new son and mother-in-law. My husband works from home now as a small scale farmer (yes, that makes me a farmers wife lol) so now I can pursue my dream of being a full time Senior photographer! I still get asked often when am I visiting Central Virginia so that I can do shoots for friends and family (and I still make the trip when I can) but I am excited to see where this journey leads me in Southwest Virginia!
While I started out taking pictures of just about anything, I now specialize in Senior Portraits. Having the opportunity to get to know, empower and help build the confidence of the seniors I photograph is what I am most passionate about.
